A Verizon Wireless exclusive for the US market, the Moto Z3 isn’t all that much different from the previous edition, the Moto Z2 Force. The hardware closely resembles the 2017 edition, including the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB internal storage.
With a 6.01-inch display and 3,000mAh power source, the Moto Z3 houses a pair of 12-megapixel cameras around back. Up front is an 8-megapixel shooter with a f/2.0 wide-angle lens.
This marks not only another MotoMod-ready phone, but it’s the first to handle Verizon’s 5G network. Indeed, an add-on module is due in 2019 which adds the next-gen data capability to the phone.
Although this isn’t quite flagship-beating stuff, at least Verizon and Motorola have a justifiable price. It’s a great all-around option for users who don’t demand much but like flexibility. $480
