New images from the FCC show the front and back of the Galaxy Note 10+. The photos confirm the Note 10+’s centered hole-punch front camera and triple rear camera setup with an additional Time of Flight (ToF) depth sensor. There also appears to be an earpiece above the hole-punch front cam.
What’s notable about the images, spotted by XDA-Developers, is that there’s no 3.5mm headphone jack. Past rumors have suggested that Samsung might drop the 3.5mm jack from its Note 10 phones, but this is the first concrete evidence we’ve seen of that.
Several manufacturers have ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack lately, but Samsung has stuck with the 3.5mm port on its flagship smartphones. Now it looks like that’ll change with the Note 10 and Note 10+. While lots of folks won’t be bothered by the change because they use Bluetooth headphones, the Note 10 phones losing the 3.5mm headphone jack is sure to frustrate some people.
Is the Note 10 ditching the 3.5mm headphone jack a big deal to you?
